# Our Story

The UK has a history of pioneering inventions in aviation—from the jet engine to the first supersonic airliner. Five years ago, Neuron’s UK‑based founders assembled a team of experts to tackle one of the industry’s biggest challenges: integrating drones safely into shared airspace.

Our goal was ambitious: build a flight‑tracking network that met technical, economic, and regulatory requirements while remaining open, accessible, and community‑owned. We iterated through prototypes, collaborated with regulators, airports, drone operators, and general aviation pilots, and demonstrated live drone flights at Cranfield University’s DARTeC research facility.

Now, as we approach the aviation singularity, we’re ready to hand ownership to the community of aviation and DePIN enthusiasts who are making this dream a reality. Share your data, get rewarded, and become part of aviation history!
