# What You Need to Participate

To contribute your sensor node, you will need:

* **Purchase a sensor** (From  $985 USD)
* **High installation point** (roof, mast, attic)
* **Mains power** outlet nearby
* **High‑speed internet** (Ethernet or stable Wi‑Fi)
* **1 hour of your time** for setup

Once online, your sensor will begin feeding data to the 4DSKY network, and earning you points.
